I listened to a song My Lil Sista In Music DJ Producer Mikki Afflick created entitled Music Heals My Soul. She left me a message telling me Brutha I thought about you making this which immediately inspired me to ignite the system in my music room
My emotions and in synchronization with my physical body just needing exactly this as immediate nourishment, was right on time. As I listen to the instrumental and production of Sis I could only be proud and appreciative of this often under appreciated genius.
Then I listen to the vocal version sang angelic like by a young lady name Georgia (quite ironically my late mothers name). Reminiscent and as beautiful and peaceful as Sade Adu (in all due respect) and delivering a riveting captivating sentiment that so many of us can (and do) identify with.
Truly Music Heals The Soul and the politics of it in these times (music) distract those more concerned with trends oppose to the gift that Music actually should always be.
Hopefully everyone does consciously seek, support and share this unbelievable work when it becomes available, and Sis I am proud of you and congratulations. This is a #1 record and those who do understand and get it, will indeed make it a #1.
